Stichting Teatro Bulabanda is very pleased to be awarded its first Multi-Year Grant from the Fonds Podiumkunsten, which will allow it to produce high-level theater for Curaçao for four years. Teatro Bulabanda’ was founded in 2018 by theater maker Albert Schoobaar together with cultural producer Marlon Reina. Bulabanda has as its mission: through a critical, poetic theater of high artistic level, to raise awareness of its audience and thus take steps towards the transformation of Curaçaoan society. First, we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who helped with the application in one way or another: Judith Heerenveen, Ernestine Comvalius, Saundra Williams, and Sewan Mumcuyan.
